Job Description

As a Full Stack Developer, you will help build a new platform from the ground up, contributing across backend, frontend, and deployment. This is a code-focused role where you’ll deliver end-to-end features, collaborate on technical decisions, and help shape a scalable product built for long-term growth.

Job Overview

Employment type: Indefinite term type contract
Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (approx. Colombian time), weekends off
Work setup: Work from home, Colombia

The Qualifications We Seek

• At least 4 years of relevant work experience

Tech Stack

• Backend: Java with Spring Boot
• Frontend: React with TypeScript (preferred) or Angular, preferably with Material UI experience
• Database: Relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar)
• Cloud: AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
• DevOps: GitHub Actions / CI/CD
• Testing: JUnit, Jest, or similar frameworks
• Version control: Git / GitHub
• Nice-to-have: React Native (for future mobile development)

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with React Native for upcoming mobile projects
• AWS certification or strong cloud architecture experience
• Familiarity with Scrum methodology
• Mobile development background for future product expansion
• Experience in finance or fintech companies

Profile Requirements

• English fluency is mandatory
• Startup background preferred, with proven experience building products from scratch
• Strong problem-solving mindset, adaptability, and ownership of end-to-end delivery

Your Daily Tasks

Platform Development

• Build a new platform from scratch with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability

Backend

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java with Spring Boot
• Design and manage relational databases for robust data modeling

Frontend

• Lead UI/UX implementation for the web application
• Build responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces using React with TypeScript or Angular
• Collaborate with designers to translate wireframes and mockups into production-ready code

DevOps & Deployment

• Deploy solutions on AWS and manage cloud infrastructure
• Configure and maintain GitHub CI/CD pipelines

Testing

• Perform unit testing; experience with integration, end-to-end, or performance testing is a plus

Collaboration

• Work closely with design, product, and QA teams to deliver user-centric solutions
